Quality concrete begins with a quality mix, which is poured at a low water to cement ratio having a slump of no greater than 4 inches. The consistency would be like a thick pudding rather than a soupy consistency.

To ensure pop-free concrete, we recommend granite aggregate for all exterior applications.

Once your concrete is finished, curing and sealing is required for your concrete to reach its maximum strength and durability. Please click on our Concrete Care Brochure for the details on these critical steps.

Under no circumstances should deicing chemicals or salts be used on concrete especially in the first year after placement.
